There are five Parish Councillors representing the area with two Councillors representing Studley Roger, two Councillors representing Aldfield and one Councillor representing the small settlement of Lindrick.
There will be District and Parish elections on May 4th 2018 and any residents in the Parish can stand for the Parish Council. If you are at all interested details can be found from Harrogate Borough Council or from any of the present Councillors.
The Parish Council meets four times per year in February, May, August and November, in the village hall of Studley Roger. Notice of meetings are posted in the Parish notice boards in Studley Roger and Aldfield and on the Parish website.
The Parish Council receives planning applications from Harrogate Borough Council that relate to the Parish and are asked to give their views. These are discussed at Parish meetings.
Policy Documents and other items for consultation are received from both Harrogate Borough Council and North Yorkshire County. These are discussed at Parish meetings and opinions passed back to the relevant authority.
Highways problems, street lighting and other issues are received from members of the community and reported to the relevant authority.
